Description
Our Thymosin Alpha 1 10mg vial holds 10mg of lyophilized Thymosin Alpha 1, a thymic peptide. It’s intended for lab research only.
About Thymosin Alpha 1
Thymosin alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide first isolated from thymus tissue. It acts on T-cell maturation and innate immune signaling.
A synthetic form, thymalfasin (Zadaxin), is approved in some countries outside the US for hepatitis B and C.
How Thymosin Alpha 1 works
Thymosin alpha-1 acts on toll-like receptors, especially TLR2 and TLR9, on dendritic cells and other immune cells. That activates downstream signaling that helps T cells mature and shapes the response toward Th1 immunity.
It’s studied as an adjuvant alongside vaccines and in chronic viral infection models, where the goal is a stronger T-cell response without broad overstimulation.

Reconstituting Thymosin Alpha 1 10mg
Here’s the math for 10mg of peptide:
- 1mL of diluent gives 10mg/mL
- 2mL of diluent gives 5mg/mL
- 3mL of diluent gives 3.33mg/mL
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water or our research diluent solution. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the liquid slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
Storing Thymosin Alpha 1 10mg
Store sealed vials in the fridge (2 to 8°C) or freezer (-20°C), away from light. Mixed solution goes back in the fridge and should be used within about 28 days.
Thymosin Alpha 1 purity and Janoshik testing
The Thymosin Alpha 1 10mg photo gallery includes one independent test report from Janoshik Analytical, a lab in Prague that a lot of peptide buyers use to check suppliers. Each one lists the compound found, the measured amount and the HPLC purity, plus the batch number and the date the lab ran it.
Thymosin Alpha 1 10mg is sold at a minimum of 99% purity by HPLC. The reports below show the actual figure for each batch tested.
Every Janoshik report has a unique key printed at the bottom. Enter it at janoshik.com/verify and you’ll see the same report straight from the lab, which is the easiest way to know a COA hasn’t been edited. Match the batch on the report with the batch on your label.
