Description

GHK-Cu 100mg is a 100mg vial of GHK-Cu, a copper-binding tripeptide, supplied by EZ Peptides as freeze-dried powder. It’s for in-vitro and lab research only.

GHK-Cu at a glance

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.

It’s used widely in skin and wound research, and in cosmetic formulas.

How GHK-Cu acts in the lab

GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.

In cell and animal studies GHK-Cu increased collagen and glycosaminoglycan production, attracted repair cells to wounds, and changed the activity of many genes involved in tissue remodeling.

Published GHK-Cu studies

Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.

Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.

GHK-Cu 100mg lab reports

The GHK-Cu 100mg photo gallery includes one independent test report from Janoshik Analytical, a lab in Prague that a lot of peptide buyers use to check suppliers. Each one lists the compound found, the measured amount and the HPLC purity, plus the batch number and the date the lab ran it.

GHK-Cu 100mg is sold at a minimum of 99% purity by HPLC. The reports below show the actual figure for each batch tested.

GHK-Cu 100mg Janoshik test report showing HPLC purity

Every Janoshik report has a unique key printed at the bottom. Enter it at janoshik.com/verify and you’ll see the same report straight from the lab, which is the easiest way to know a COA hasn’t been edited. Some of these reports may cover a different GHK-Cu size from the same production. The purity figure carries over; the amount line is for the vial the lab measured.

How to reconstitute GHK-Cu 100mg

The volume of liquid you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 100mg:

  • 3mL of diluent gives 33.33mg/mL
  • 5mL of diluent gives 20mg/mL

Choose the volume that suits your measurements. Mark the vial with the concentration and date so nobody has to guess later.

Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water or our research diluent solution. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the liquid slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.

Storing GHK-Cu 100mg

The dry powder keeps best cold: 2 to 8°C in the fridge, or -20°C for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store it in the fridge and finish it within roughly four weeks.
